If
you want a career that focuses on outdoor activities, jobs at the water
industry might be the right for you.
- Water Quality
Specialist. If you have a background in science,
chemistry, biology and Earth science and love outdoors this job is perfect
for you. It does not require any
licenses or training since you will be trained on the job. You must have good communication skills
as well as good decision making skills.
- Water Resource
Planner. This job is important for the
community. The planner determines
how much water a certain water system should provide to the
community. Qualifications for the
job include a degree on urban planning, environmental engineering or
special training on water resource management.
- Photographer. Although this one
seems to be different form those jobs mentioned earlier this is important
for the water industry. For those
who have passion for photography, this job is for you. There is no educational degree or
license needed to apply. All you
have to do is bring your portfolio.
Responsibilities include photo sessions that will be used on
promotions and tracking of construction of water systems. Pictures for annual reports, brochures
and websites will also be part of the photographer's responsibility.
