Waste Management Manager

Written by greenwork.net

Waste Management Managers are responsible for all the dirty work. They have to draw up plans for the correct handling of hazardous materials and contaminated waste while keeping government laws in mind.

They have to implement these plans and check to see if they are being properly carried out by the trained staff. Waste Management Managers also have to design waste disposal systems and keep the waste management policies and waste handling procedures up to date.

Waste Management Managers may not have a glamorous sounding position, but it is one of the highest paying environmental jobs. Average salary can reach up to over $80,000. This job requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar area.
